Sorry for no post guys in a while...I was so happy that I got tagged by Shopaholic and Cupcakes for the Weird and Wonderful and then my friend invited me to go to her brother's college orientation w/ her and i was like what the heck its summer i might as well....

So here are the rules and i'm actually REALLY excited for this...is that wrong? hehe....

1. Lets see...I have an INSANE fear of snakes....ewww...even the word makes me shutter....I never was afraid of them before but then one day...BAM i was so freaked by them...i mean they are terrifying. All slithery and slimy and so frickin fast and they hide and blend in and bite you....I dont know why im so scared but... like the movie Snakes on Plane for example? Did someone create that just to scare the shit out of me?! It worked...my worst nightmare...then going crazy and coming for me....

and then my friend sent me this email about Australian sheep farmer and there sheep were disappearing and so he got an electric fence and then there were these pictures of a swear a frickin like 20 foot long snake with a mouth that could devour me and you could totally see the sheeps in its body and i literally screamed when i saw it...meanie friend

ugh i cant even talk about it anymore...maybe im being over dramatic heheh...i dont like that picture AHH!!!! save me...i dont wanna look @ it anymore....

2. I am a complete obsesser of tv couples....more like a day dreamer...or an fanatic i personally like dreamer it sounds a whole lot less stranger...but I think about couples on TV shows way tooo much...but I cant help it, they're so cute and the writers give them the best lines to each other....and i like writing fan fiction that sounds weird but writing about my favorite character and making them do whatever i want is fun....dont judge me *runs off pouting* lol...

Jack and Kate, LOST...they are SO cute together...better then Kate and Sawyer...so much better...

Ryan and Marissa, The OC...ok they were my all time FAVORITE couple before the show started to suck in the 3rd and 4th seasons....seasons 1 and 2 were amazing and I loved them together...she died and that sucked...:(**

I mean does it get any better then this...

Brennan and Booth, Bones... Ok they are honestly adorable even though they arent actually "together" which bugs me keeping the tension and all that....but it is so obvious that they love each other...he is always protecting her which is sooooo sweet..

Meredith and Derick a.k.a. McDreamy, Grey's Anatomy...I LOVE them together...the whole 2nd season with the lingering glances and him wanting her but the couldnt be together the whole thing is just perfect...they CANT break up...

3. I wish that I was one of those people who can like take their old t-shirts and sweatshirts and skirts and jeans and a pair of scissors and cut them into something amazingly chic...everyone and a while i whip out the shears and try and make a old t-shirt into awesomness but it always just looks like a 2 year old did it....thats another fact about me...i have NO cutting skills at all

the only thing I have successfully tailored is an old pair of boot cut Citizens of Humanity jeans which I cut to bermudas's and i have to say they look quite stylish....:)

4. I have a makeup addiction...i LOVE buying it...i cant stop myself....like I see a really sparkly bright purple MAC eyeshadow with some cool name like " Geisha Lover's Midnight Dream" and i have to buy it even if i know in the back of my stupid mind I will never use it...

like these....

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil, $15.00....the only thing is the name doesnt really work because a bright blue metallic pencil is not really going to last you 24/7 if lets say you work at a very conservative office....how brilliant of me for this observation ;)

i have a hard trouble resisting the charms of metallic eyeliners...they draw me in...

My beauty essenstials...that sounded so cheesy...what i mean i use the most is black MAC eyeliner but not in a gothy emo way...Blinc Mascara...Julie Hewett smudge eyeliner..this gorgeous brown MAC eyeshadow i cant remember the name of...Rosebud lip salve and Sephora tinted SPF 15 moisturizer to protect my pretty face...haha yeah right

5. I am an inspiring Monet...for my 14th birthday this year my mom got me and easel...and I LOVE it....mostly i love taking it out and painting and having people walk by and be like "wow what and edgy cool artsy painter" until they take a look @ the canvas that is....but i really do love it...is relaxing and fun even if im not very good @ it....yet ;)

6. My room is the lime....lime colored...meaning green walls...i love it...it soothes me...hehe but really I strongly recommend painting your room a pretty vibrant shade...my other room cause my parents are divorced is being painted maroony pink right now and its gorgeous.....blue is also pretty...paint your room....its fun...

7. This is VERY random so dont be alarmed....i have/had since he went to college and insane crush on one of my karate teachers....i often would loose concentration during class because he is so hot...really hot hair really intensely hot dark green eyes....tall...just really hot...he had a black belt...i loved him and he went to college....give me a moment to sulk...ok im good...really

8. I know we have to have 7...but i CANT FIND MY PHONE....its a problem and its frustrating me...i cant call it because stupidly its off....grr...and as long as we're on the 8th one....i LOVE geeky hot people with glasses like Seth on the OC....he was so hot...but i do love other kind of hot...mostly every kind...:))

Sunglasses....i beleive they have become my new addiction...seriously....They are amazing...I feel as if every single time I put a pair on its like...BANG!!! Cool new personality and style to go along with it....like a transformation...like in that new movie, Transformers which personaly I saw the preview for with my friends in the theater b4 the new Pirates and I was literally in my seat rolling with laughter...my loud obnoxious laughter was blocked out by the loud crashing sounds and cheasy effects of the "Transformers"...."attacking" our world as they turn from cars to crazy physhco monsters...what a cool plot....the only reason I could be bribed to see it is Shia Labeouf my love....he got really hot. I saw Disturbia and I was like "Wow!!! He got so hot since Even Stevens" he is in it so maybe...im not making any promises...i might see it...

Still from Disturbia which if you havent seen it go...and if its not in theaters anymore rent it...its amazing I honestly thought it was so good and i hate scary movies...it was more of a thriller...i promise

The only thing I laughed harder at was the Underdog preview...ahahaha it makes me laugh just thinking about it....its about a dog(duh) who becomes a super hero...whoopee....the tag line is "Crime gets licked" my friend and I thought this was about the funniest thing ever...they're so creative with the taglines these days...

Anyways now that i severely rambled back to my sunglasses...my one true love...they should start a rehab clinic called A.S.A.O.H.A. Thats Addiction to Sunglasses and Other Harmful Accesories i do have to say...I find myself quite witty at times ;).

So I love them because make me feel like I can vibe forty billion different styles with just one change of a sweet accesorie.

These are my 3 favorite pairs....

Red Wayfarers $5.80 @ Forever 21 :))), Same with the sorta aviators, and the black ones are from Target and I have no idea how much they cost.... All I know is that I love them...

Take my Giant-black-always-in-Jackie-O sunglasses...they honestly make me feel like I could be Jackie O...or some other amazingly chic women from the 60's who took day trips to cool little beaches on the Cape and wore pretty little peddal pushers and Lilly Pulitzer everyday and didnt make it look like she was conservative or had a stick up her arse mostly like she was carefree in a way "This is how I do things"

Perfect examples...Mischa Barton and her pal Nicole Richie...we all know who they are i dont even know why I bothered ;)

Then my red Wayfarers which btw I have a serious love affair with...I wore them all day today and all day I felt like the coolest person alive....very very urban hipster...ala Kirsten Dunst...although the red makes them cheery I beleive....then you can also feel like you're are Tom Cruise in Risky Business... even though I am in fact a girl...

Then we have aviators...ok mine aren't exactly military issue real wire rimmed aviators even though I did have an insanly cool pair i bought on Santa Monica Peir for like 2 dollars with cool mirror lenses that my friend maliciously stole....these are more like faux aviators...they have the same shape but I love the color and the way I can see my eyes in them...they remind me of hippies I dont know why...but everyone knows...aviators are always cool...duh

ugh..again I find myself making Tom Cruise reference...the horror....aviators=Top Gun...another classic...but its ok I make sunglasses references to him because it was young hot Tom Cruise not ego maniac crazy scientologist with too young wife Tom Cruise.

He was hot...then, or at least i think so :P

Soooo....what's the verdict

Soooo....my big question....Doutzen Kroes fashion's newest darling, or just another model? Of course she's got, "It" she has the big lips, the huge blue eyes, honey colored hair, perfect cheek bones, and a nice body(she's not too skinny actually I mean she's skinny, but you know not like the Eastern Europeaness we're used to)....but does she really have, ya know...It...

Yes...you wonder what the difference between "It" and It is...allow me to inform you. The second It is reserved for when I really really fell you know...the amaziningness. That feeling when you look at the model and they're just stupendous...they look different then the other models...they have charisma(a side not, my history teacher pronounced it CHA-ris-Ma with like a CHA in the begining, it cracked me up so much, but he was British and said things like bloody hell, and he told me to can it twice, and he also says issue like I-sss-ue instead of I-sh-ue I loved it....ok completed and totally off subject, I'm sorry :)

So the models with It...you wanna be them...you wish you looked like them...you envy the way that they pull off their perfect endrogenous style....lets see I'm sort of in love with Sasha Pivovarova... for me, she just had It.... I love her look, even though so many people say she looks like Gemma Ward, I think she's like Gemma's evil twin who was born on the wrong side of town and would eat a live fish, ok that was a little drastic, but you get the point...she's a hella lot edgier then Miss. Ward...

Anyways mostly I love her because she is so intense and awesome on the runway...and then in Teen Vogue she was interviewed, and she was all smiley, and she is an arist! I love that! A model who has a brain....yay...and they're actually really good her drawings....

The airplane party...she looks pretty...pretty intense ahaha i crack myself up...

Possibly one of my favorite ads ever...except Prada F06 w/ Sasha...I just love this add its so colorful and pretty and she looks really soft and innocent which is so different then how intense she usually is...its called variety people....

I just really like how her shirt matches her eyes...it just mesmerizes me...cool

So Sasha has it for me...I dont know...I just love her....

Then there's Coco Rocha...I actually think I am in love with her in a purely i wish I was her way.....she is so just insanly unique looking....sooo DIFFERENT then everything that's out there...its just coolness to the max....a whole lot cooler in my opinion then miss big lips up there..

Ok this might possible be very cheasy, but her bone structure looks like it was carved with a flippin chisel, seriously...

Back to little Doutzen which to you who didnt read all about her in the Vogue model issue it is pronounced "Doubt-zen" just so if anyone asks you on the street, which I highly doubtzen they will...hahaha doubtzen...anyway you can say in correctly in a manner of intelligence

I'm not really sure if she does it for me...I mean she's a pretty girl...but seriously so many people are...there are ten kazillion models who are a whole lot more interesting and unique then her, and I dont mean to trash her, but I don't feel like she's like deserving all the attention that she's getting...she's like Vogue's flippin poster child now...i swear she's been in US Vogue for like 3 or 4 issues straight, or maybe thats just me....

She just looks like a normal pretty girl I think....

I do though love this photo...she looks like a female zoro in a really chic Spanish way..

But this?? Models are suppossed to be unique...she doesnt look unique, she just look pretty or maybe its just me....

Ok so I'm totally in love with sandals. And not run-of-the-mill-only-4-bucks-@-sears sandals, although I have a Havainnas obessession, I mean who doesnt? They're so comfy, and easy and come in seriously a jillion colors, although I am not one to talk since I have one black pair and they just broke, but.......I am planning on getting a new pair, so you can give me credit for that.

Back to the other sandals, I really want a pair of pretty sandals. The kind that look hoppin( I have no idea if that is a relevant word here but whatev) The kind that look hot with skinny jeans, and peeky out under the hems of long hippie summer dresses, and make you look like you are the most stylish person on earth which I am hehe jk I wish.

We all no what that means....if I was living in a perfect CA movie it would mean parties on the beach, um...getting drunk which I dont plan to do, perfect clothes, cute little shorts with the perfect set of mile long legs to go with them, and eternal tan, a delicious coral colored smoothie, an adorably cute boy to spend my summer with lying lazily on the beach with no need to reaply sunblock, i just turn golden brown automatically instead of having to reaply spf 45 every hour so i do not look like a blonde tomato, and days and days of sleeping in past noon

Now...the reality of school ending, lets review shall we..

NON-EXCITING THINGS ABOUT THE END OF THE YEAR

1.Finals...yippee! Not...that means hours of pouring over the American revolution, and doing a latin project which coincidentally i should be doing right now, but instead am procrastinating on my blog. Then it means sitting in the freezing overly-air conditioned gym while i try to pull random facts out of my head on out to square a quadratic function...hooray

2. Cleaning out my locker...wahoo, usually i find like 40 billion Fiji water bottles that i have forgotten to throw away or drink, and lots of gross papers and my math test from like October the 3rd. Its not very exciting...

3. Graduating 8th grade...my english teacher says all these embarrasing facts that our PARENTS wrote about us in the beginning of the year mine will probably be like "Arabella spent her summer obsessing over superman(dont ask :) and sleeping" and all the parents there will be like SLACKER! not that i care what my fellow classmates parents thinks about me


4. Watching one of my friends jet off to the Carribean and NY for like 2 weeks. Can you say jealousy? I wanna go *pouts angrily*, she will come back and I will still be here...doing nothing

Ok...its been a while since my last post, and one thing that has changed in the eternally sunny land of Southern CA, is umm....hmm...its freaking so hot here!! And I know every one thinks "oh they live in CA it must always be 75 degrees out and sunny, and everyone is a beach bum and smokes pot and is tan and doesnt go to school or work" whoa a little rant there, but its true, we get so stereotyped. "You're from CA" subliminal lines "BEACH BUM!!!" hahah it always cracks me up when I go to New York City, and every one always stares at me because of my strangely colored blonde hair! Everyone there has dark hair i swear to god...**


**side not I am sorry if you live in NYC and have very toe-headed(white blonde) blonde hair, I do not mean to offend, and i am a victim of my own stereotyped, although i have always pondered what i would look like with dark hair since my dad has dark hair and i dont look like him i wonder if i would look like him, ok rambling now sorry back to the post which so far has been a whole lot of rambling

anyways let me get back to my point. For like 3 days now it has been 90 degrees out, I swear to god! It never gets that hot here, like ever. I have been sweltering in my classes, last period English is the worst, I'm like "take me to the beach i am going to die if i discuss the difference between a conjuction and a preposition one more time" so i decided i am in serious need of warm weather clothing...isnt everyone?

I havent even had the chance to go to the beach yet, :(*** I am almost crying, although working out on a hot day is so nice, seriously i feel so like i dont know happy after!!

I want to be there so much right now, can you imagine OMG i can my new radio figi blue and orange striped bikini, a smoothie, and umm...james franco to serve it to me...enough with the day dreaming, i seriously want to know where that is









Check List for Unbearably Hot Days No Matter Where You Live

1. Sunblock...I know it seems too practical, but seriously ,who wants a malignant melanoma not me knock on wood, so go to Rite Aid or Longs I bet you a billion bucks there is one in range of 10 miles of you, it wouldnt be America if there wasnt. Go and get Coppertone, non-fragnant SPF 45 for face, and then for body, you can be fashionable and safe people!

1. I love the little coppertone girl with her butt line, its so cute and classic haha and i'm pathetic i think :)

2. A pair of AH-mazing sunglasses, aviators are so classic that they never go out, everyone knows that thats what i would stick with, also it is very entertaining to take pictures of yourself with them when you are bored because you can see the camera in the reflection awesome i know, and sadly i didnt take that pic, it is so awesome tho you know?

3. A seriously goregous view(see below picture which i did acutally take from my house ) where you can make yourself a nice lemonade, or whatever drink you please, put on you obnoxious-to-everyone-around-you white ipod earbuds, and fall asleep as you celebrate the horrifically unbearable sun setting around you, ah.... paradise

4. The season DVD's to whatever show you love, my choices: Greys Anatomy, Lost, The OC (seasons 1 and 2 cause they were the only good ones), Bones(check it out, sorta underated on fox @ 8 on Wedsnday, and the FBI agent is HOT), Sex in the City, that you can watch while you lock yourself in your room with the AC blasting, pretending to do homework when really you are too focused on McDreamy to think of anything else

I seriously think that Lost is like a hotness explosion, you have to agree. Ahhh...

5. Waterballoons to have fights with your little brother on the grass since he is so cool, and you must cherish your time with him while he still likes you ahaha funny thing is i have actually done that

6. Extremely cute little summery dresses, because it is way way way too hot to wear anything else seriously, t-shirt dresses are adorable, and it is all about color right now, I need color and I love it, leave your grey and black for fall when all i do is go to school and its 40 degrees out,

J.crew some great stuff, usually their stuff is too preppy for me, but my friend seriously her whole wadrobe is from there which bugs the heck out of me so i can barely stand the place sometimes, but I got such and adorable dress there, its hot pink with white buttons its just really cute

this picture does make me really happy though. I seriously am envious of this model who can pull off yellow and white polka dotted shorts, that=LOVE

Standing for 4 Hours was DEFINIETELY worth it...

THE KILLERS

So hot I sorta can't handle it...
Ok, so now that I'm back on normal schedule, a.k.a, NO spring break, I have finally recovered from my first standing-in-the-pit-for-5-hours-with-the-strong-odor-of-pot-everywhere concert experience! HOORAY!!!

But I saw The Killers!!! Which was so awesome!! I love them, and Brandon Flowers is such a hottie *swoon*. So my friends and I were really close, like 20 feet, which was amazing. It was extremely loud, but in a good way. And it was really hot, in a not good way. Luckily there will a couple of gorgeous guys that we were sort of smushed against so I wasn't really complaining, :).

The first act was extremely weird, I couldnt even hear what their name was, but they were like out of a bad episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, seriously, one of their song's was called "Hell Diver". I was like, what the heck is this, I want the Killers. When the finished, I was like hooray the Killers, but then....there was a 2nd opening act! The Howling Bells, from Australia, who were actually pretty good, but by that point I was a little grouchy at being stuck standing for already like 2 hours and not seeing the band I came to.

It took another 40 mintues after the Howling Bells came on for the Killers to come out, but it was SO worth it. They played so well, and confetti came from the ceiling, and Brandon Flowers is such an amazing performer. <3>

This is such a good picture for a camera phone, I am seriously impressed.

Pretty purple lights, they lighting was awesome btw.

If the Killers come on tour near where you live I highly recommend trying to get tickets, they rock! :D
